HOW WE EXCEL YOUR GCE A-LEVEL CHEM
STRATEGY FOR GRADE A*
With most of our students securing an "A*" over the years, our highly experienced team is confident in helping you to achieve the top results in your A-level exam. We focus on two main directions: 1. Covering the topics early in advance to be ahead of your school. This leaves us with adequate time to prepare and revise for the upcoming GCE A-Level chemistry examination. We aim to finish the whole A-level curriculum by the beginning of the second year. 2. Analyzing past exam papers. With early completion of the curriculum, the earlier you’ll be able to start working on past papers with your A-level chemistry tutor. An interesting fact about A-level chemistry is that it’s very common to see the same question repeatedly appearing in exam papers. Hence, the earlier we start practicing A-level chemistry, the more tutorials we have, which means the more papers we go through - the more familiarized we become with the papers and thus, the closer we are to securing an “A*” for your A-level chemistry exam.

GETTING TO KNOW YOU BETTER
We aim to first develop a better understanding of your current performance level at chemistry. Depending on the student’s form, Our GCE A-level Chemistry Tutor may conduct an assessment. Initially, we would like to first clear the concepts that you may be struggling or are not familiar with in school. We’ll then plan a timeline tailored to your progress, before moving onto the upcoming topics in the following session.

Each session is around 1.5 hours. Every one of our students will be individually followed up. We’ll first cover the topics explaining the main concepts and principles behind each. Following this, we’ll then go through a few selected tricky questions taken from past GCE A-level chemistry exam papers, in order for your tutor to ensure you’re able to understand and familiarize yourself with the right approach and format of each chapter.
