Answer:

For IBDP Chemistry, you should know:

1) Fluorine is more electronegative than chlorine, which enables it to more readily and powerfully capture a share pair of electrons. As a result, the couple of electrons can be readily absorbed, and reduction takes place. It is stronger than chlorine at oxidizing substances.

2) The artificial sweetener aspartame is only used in chilled beverages.
