Explanation: The spinal cord is part of the central nervous system, but the spinal nerves, which are formed from axons leaving the spinal cord, are part of the peripheral nervous system. The basal ganglia are a part of the brain within the central nervous system. Cortical just refers to anything on the outside portion of an organ, e.g. cerebral cortex or adrenal cortex.

Q258 Answer: c. 6

Explanation: We know that AB = 4 (A+B).

If A = 12 then 12B = 4B + 48 and therefore 8B = 48 and B = 6.
