2) What is cistron?

Answer:

For GCSE Biology, you should know:

1) A geneticist who wants to learn about the variances and inheritance patterns in living things chooses to use shorter-lived creatures in their investigations. This is due to the short lifespans of those creatures making it possible for geneticists to investigate several generations.

2) The DNA region known as the cistron contains instructions for synthesizing a specific protein or RNA. The segment contains the encoding for the creation of an RNA or protein polypeptide molecule.
