Answer:

For GCSE Mathematics, you should know:

The number of spade cards is 13.
The number of queens in a spade set is only 1.

Therefore n(spade queen) = 13C1
n(Total number of cases) = 52C1
P(spade queen) = 13C1/52C1 = 13/52 = 1/4

The probability is 1/4.
