Answer:

Macromolecular biological catalysts include enzymes. For A-Level Biology, in other words, they quicken chemical processes.

The two enzymes that are crucial for industry are lipase and amylase.

An enzyme called amylase helps turn starch into sugars through hydrolysis. Humans and certain other mammals produce amylase in their saliva, where it starts the body's chemical process of digesting. They play a crucial role in industrial fermentation processes such as beer and liquor production from sugar, as well as industrial bread production.

As part of A-Level Biology, know that an enzyme called lipase facilitates the hydrolysis of fats (lipids). In order to prepare for the fermentation of yoghurt and cheese, lipase is utilized in industry. bakery and food industries.
