Natural selection
- Individuals of a species show variation - some individuals will be better able to survive in the environement and produce more healthy offspring than others - natural selection.
- This is when the environment ( including climate and other organisms) selects which individuals pass on their genes to the next generation

- Charles Darwin suggested that, if the environment changes, then natural selection will result in the characteristics of a species changing gradually from generation to generation - Evolution
