A black as well as a red die are rolled together. Find the conditional probability of obtaining the sum 8, given that the red die resulted in a number less than 4.

P(E)= 5/36

P(F)= 18/36 =12

P(E∩F)=2/36

As such, P(E/F) = P(E∩F)/P(F) x (2/36)/(1/2) = 1/9
